....soundtrip Touch Peel and Stand - D.O.N. I watched Peter Pan today and I have to say that I was greatly pleased by what I've seen. And guess what? I'm not referring to that adorable ,shirtless kid who's my current object of lust *evil cackle* I've waited for a long time to see a version wherein Peter is a real boy and not some woman pretending to be one and thank god, my prayer was answered. Double thanks because I could never think of a more delicious..er..I mean suitable Peter Pan other than Jeremy Sumpter.
And of course, because of my love for that squirt, I am totally biased. X D D D. Jason Isaacs was a wonderful Hook and a funny Mr.Darling. He totally caught my heart in this movie. But if there was someone in the film who I really want to acknowledge, it's Rachel Hurd-Wood. She was good, considering it's her first acting job.
I'd like totalk more about the film but I'm feeling intoxicated right now after watching it. It seems my consciousness is still in Neverland. *laughs*
I do believe in faeries.

....soundtrip Got You ... - The Flys Congratulations to Welcoat for bagging Game no.1 of the Finals! I thought Fash would give the team a hard time but I was wrong. Just like last Thursday's game, Welcoat proved to be the more dominant team. Maybe if Nonoy Simon didn't have his left thigh injury, the game would have gone differently. I really agree to what Coach Koy (or was it Coach Ricky?) said about Fash being Nonoy-centered. Wherever Nonoy goes, Fash follows. If he goes up, they go up. If he goes down, they go down. Still, I expected other players to step up. To my joy, Wesley did (love,love WES!! X D D). However, his intensity didn't last long enough to keep his team on the lead.
Kudos to Paul Artadi for a wonderful game. If not for those steals he made, maybe Game One would have a different ending. He may not be the no.1 option in scoring but he sure knows how to keep everyone's energy going. X D. Way to go, Paul! (And congrats for making those free throws! X D)
I haven't seen Adi-kun today. I'm not really used to not having even a short glimpse but I'm glad that my day went by without his presence bothering me. Slowly but surely, I am kicking him out of my system. I wish I don't see him tomorrow......
On second thought, maybe I could use a three-second glimpse... X D

....soundtrip Interstate Love Song - STP I have been told that Tennis no Oujisama has been licensed by Viz. The nightmare I had been fearing has already occured!! Ch' I hate it when a favorite manga of mine is being licensed by some American Company. -_-. I wish TeniPuri didn't get too popular. Maybe Viz would have left it alone.

....soundtrip Yes, Yes, Yes - Seigaku-tachi I have been trying to change. I swear, I have been really trying to change since it's already a new year. I said to myself that I will get away from real-life shounen ai but I really can't help it. I don't only pair up celebrities (basketball players, anyone?) but my own class/schoolmates as well.

Ch' From now on, I'm going to spend less time in the Engineering study area. The more I stay there, the more I sinned. *snickers* It doesn't help at all that most Engineering male students prefer...*cough*.. their own kind too.
I saw an old friend yesterday. I haven't seen nor talked to her for almost a year. I missed her a lot. Being with her reminds me a whole lot of our highschool days. I'm glad nothing has changed eventhough we don't see each other often.
The PBL Finals is coming up. I can't wait to see the first game on Thursday. My bet for this conference is Welcoat. According to Coach Leo, they are the underdogs. Is he kidding me? Underdogs? With his roster?
NO WAY.
The Paintmasters' line-up can be considered a Dream Team. They have UAAP MVP and one of the best shooters in the country today, James Yap; there's Paul Artadi, UE's prized pointguard; dunk and defense master, Marc Pingris; MVP candidate Jojo Tangkay and the 6'7" three-point shooting center Ervin Sotto to name a few of Welcoat's talented players. The team's first string is as good as its second string which makes them hard to defeat. Unless Nonoy Simon recovers from his injury , Fash doesn't have a chance against a powerhouse team.
Without Nonoy, they are nothing (based from what I've seen last Saturday). Key players SHOULD step up ,if they want to grab the championship. They must fill in the void left behind by their number one scorer. They must improve their defense and shut Welcoat's scorers up. And that means ALMOST EVERYBODY X D. They must use their experience as a championship team to their advantage.
And Wesley Gonzales should stop forcing his shots.
I love Wesley. I really do. But I don't like how he has been playing lately. Why does he keep on trying for three-point shots when it was obvious that he didn't have the touch from the outside? Sure, he could should shoot threes but in that particular game, his shots beyond the arc were just going out of the rim. He should have approached closer and settled for twos instead. And he should improve his defense against James Yap. But I doubt he'll ever guard the former KING WARRIOR. James Yap was just too good for Wes' futile defense. I think Larry Fonacier should be assigned to Yap. He defends better.

....soundtrip Got You... - The Flys Happy Chinese New Year! Finally, the Year of the Wooden Monkey has started, which means the start of my good fortune as well. XD It was said that this year is going to be a wonderful year for me that's why I'm looking forward to it. I'm not really a believer of horoscopes and seers but it's nice to think that I'll have good luck all the way til December ne? X D Now, despite of the joyous festivities currently going on around me, I wasn't able to stay in a jovial mood. Blame it on a certain someone whose name I will not reveal as a ...er..precautionary measure. I will not anymore elaborate what wrong thing XX did because trying to remember it just irks me even more and I don't want to remain in such a sour disposition for the rest of the evening.
I noticed I have been watching less tv for the past several weeks. I'm only tuning in everytime there's a basketball game (whether local or the NBA) and afterwards? Zilch. I couldn't believe myself, actually. This once tv-obsessed girl no longer craved for this glorious invention of man. It's something I've never thought would occur. People really do change ne? (And I thought I was incapable of change)
I am currently reading Mario Puzo'sThe Fourth K. I just finished Book I and so far, I liked what I read. The dialogues are witty and the pacing is fluid. I adore the Oracle. Such an intelligent and amusing old man. X D.

Last Friday , I went to see Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (no, it's not Elvis X P) with some friends and I was completely overwhelmed by the whole Aragorn x Legolas implications. Heck, has anyone noticed the way these two were looking at each other? They did not need to speak for the unusual gleam in their eyes had revealed it all. The desire was so blatant , it just made me squeal with utmost delight. X D. I totally love Aragorn x Legolas ( alongside Sam x Frodo) and although Tolkien never (?) intended them to be the dashing homosexual heroes I pictured them to be, I don't care. X P. Call me sick . Call me perverted. Call me a paradox (a straight person loving boy x boy related stories) . But I will never leave the wonderful world of Boy Love. ^0^ (well, for now at least.) *sigh* Why can't I just be like any other normal human being and go for heterosexual romances?
